We at Holy Apostles Anglican Church are committed to serving God as revealed in Holy Scripture and to the unchanged and unchanging word of God. We are dedicated to following the historic order and traditions of the Anglican Communion as articulated most recently in the Windsor Report and affirmed by the Primates of the Anglican Communion at their recent meeting last February at Dromantine, Northern Ireland.  We are determined to look to the future and live the Gospel in the midst of a very secular world.

Holy Apostles is in the process of gathering faithful Anglicans from around Central Kentucky who feel as we do that affiliation with the larger church is significantly important. As we began our affiliation with the Anglican Church worldwide we were under the protection and authority of Diocese of Bolivia, the Rt. Rev. Frank Lyons, Bishop, and the Province of the Southern Cone of the Americas, the Most Rev. Gregory Venables, Archbishop and Primate More recently we have affiliated with the Anglican Province of Uganda, The Very Right Rev. Henry Luke Orombi, Archbishop and his representative here in this country, The Rt. Rev. John Guernsey located in Virginia.

We have recently moved into our new facilities following two years in rented space, carrying our things around in boxes packing up and unpacking week after week.  While we are permanently located, there are improvements taking place in our space which will enhance the worship and educational experience.  We are still a work in progress as each of us is guided by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  We pray that God will give us the strength and perseverance to do His work in the vineyard in which we have been planted.

We invite you to join us as we continue to build this island of refuge in a world of secular humanism that abounds in our community. It is one of our purposes to be a moral voice within our cities to reinforce the codes affirmed by the historic church.
